What we do

One team, the whole night

B&W has produced corporate events across South Africa since 1993. For private milestones we bring the same crew, fleet and kit: theming and set build, sound and lighting, DJ and live acts, guest management, security liaison, catering and bar partners, and a run-of-night that the host never has to look at. You arrive as a guest at your own party.

Our founder spent thirty years behind the decks, so every theme below is built from the music outward. The room follows the sound.

Starting points. Every production is designed from scratch around the guest of honour.

Studio 54

Disco at full scale: mirrored dance floor, white suits, confetti drops on the cue. Dress code enforced at the rope.

SpineLive disco band into a disco-house DJ set until the lights come up.

Great Gatsby

1920s excess in a mansion or a ballroom. Feather, fringe and a champagne tower taller than the host.

SpineElectro-swing DJ with a live trumpet over the top.

Havana Nights

Outdoor courtyard or rooftop, rum bar, a cigar roller, dancers who pull guests onto the floor.

SpineLatin band into a Latin-house DJ set.

Afro-Futurist

Projection-mapped walls, metallic set pieces, a costume brief guests will actually follow.

SpineAfro house and amapiano, two DJs back to back, a live percussionist.

Old Hollywood

Black tie, a red carpet with real photographers, a cinema-style reveal of the host's life in three minutes.

SpineBig-band swing into classic soul, a crooner for the first dance.

Silent Disco Rooftop

For venues with neighbours. Three channels, three DJs, a skyline, and nobody outside hears a thing.

SpineChannel one house, channel two 80s and 90s, channel three the host's own playlist.

Moroccan Souk

Low seating, lanterns by the hundred, a long-table feast, a market of small stalls guests wander through.

SpineOud and percussion early, organic deep house late.

Secret Warehouse Rave

An address texted at 18:00. Industrial venue, serious sound, laser haze, a bar that only takes a wristband.

SpineTechno and progressive from a guest headliner, warm-up by the host's favourite DJ.

Discretion. Non-disclosure agreements signed by B&W and every supplier on request. No social media from crew. Guest lists held by one person. Security liaison handled directly with your close-protection team if you have one.

Where it starts

Productions from R150 000

That covers a themed production for around 80 guests with full sound, lighting, DJ and crew. Venue, catering and bar are quoted separately or managed by us through partners. Most milestone productions sit between R300 000 and R600 000.
