Guests inside the Castle Lite Ice Bar experiential activation
Service 01 — Experiential

Experiential that makes them feel, not think.

We build immersive, multi-sensory brand worlds where audiences stop being consumers and start being participants — from the Castle Lite Ice Bar to MxD at Ultra South Africa.

Experiential is where B&W started making its name — and it is still where we do our most exciting work. The principle has never changed: bring in sight, sound, touch, taste and smell, then find the experiential idea that genuinely resonates with the consumer market you are trying to reach. Done right, people don’t remember a message. They remember how the brand made them feel.

Castle Lite Ice Bar

We took the Ice Bar mobile and drove it straight into the mainstream market — into the taverns and the townships. In total we delivered over 200 mobile ice-bar container parties, putting an ice-cold, fully branded experience within reach of real consumers where they actually are.

In one flagship year we ran three cities in just over two months with almost 20 containers — ice-bar lifestyle shops, dance and hip-hop, clothing, radio ads, DJs, and a full ice bar with a bar and a DJ inside. A complete lifestyle ecosystem, not a single stand.

MxD at Ultra South Africa

Our proudest recent experiential work. For two years running we have built the MxD experience at Ultra South Africa for SAB — a double-decker activation with an experiential ground floor and a lounge upstairs that we opened the year before. This year we pushed the space to a genuinely next-level standard.

The partnership has grown into an ongoing creative collaboration, renewed for Ultra South Africa 2026 — and it is part of why SAB named B&W a Top Event Supplier in 2025.

Stimorol experiential zone

Delivered with agency partner Isilumko at the Delicious Food Festival, this zone leaned hard into interactive technology — a 3D vibrating chair, immersive visuals and cochlear Google glasses that put guests right inside the Stimorol brand story. Proof that experiential is as much about clever tech as it is about scale.

The method

We design for all five senses.

Every experiential build starts with the same question: how do we make this land for this consumer? Then we layer the senses until the experience becomes a memory.

Sight

Spatial design, lighting and staging that stops people in their tracks and pulls them in.

Sound

DJs, live sound and audio design that sets the energy and holds the crowd.

Touch

Interactive builds, textures and tech — from a vibrating 3D chair to hands-on brand play.

Taste

Sampling and full bar service that lets consumers experience the product, not just see it.

Smell

Scent layered into the space — the sense most tied to memory and emotion.

In the pipeline

International collaborations

We’ve collaborated with overseas partners before and have more in progress — bringing global experiential thinking to the SA market.

Come to us with a problem, not a spec sheet.

Bring us your brand, your corporate identity and brand guidelines, the consumer market you’re targeting, and the real problem you’re trying to solve.

From there we’ll build an experiential concept your consumer instinctively gets — one designed to make them feel something rather than think something. That’s the whole point.
