The one thing to get right is the name: it has rebranded twice, from Protea Hotel Witbank to Fortis and now to ANEW Hotel Witbank eMalahleni, so any older 'Protea' or 'Fortis' listing is this same property and its current contacts must be used. It is a solid, unglamorous mid-market business hotel that does exactly what the Highveld corporate market needs. OR Tambo is a 1.25-1.5 hour transfer, so it is closer to Johannesburg than the Lowveld venues. Get a property-direct contact and current condition, and it is a dependable pick.
