Amakhala Game Reserve
Overview & Capacity
Amakhala is the flexible-configuration reserve - 7,300 hectares, eleven independently run lodges, malaria-free Big-5, all just fifty minutes from the airport, which is close by EC-reserve standards. There's no single big conference hall; instead select lodges (Safari Lodge, Bukela) run smaller conferences and functions, and the play for a bigger group is a multi-lodge or whole-reserve buyout with boma dinners and Bushmans River cruises. B&W uses it for incentive stays and team-building where the group can spread across lodges, and confirms which lodge has the room the brief needs before committing.
