The Tramways Building
Overview & Capacity
The Tramways Building is the Bay's blank-canvas warehouse - a restored tram terminus in South End, run by the Mandela Bay Development Agency, with a ~660 m2 exhibition hall, two wings and a foyer that take up to 700 guests. It's self-catering, so B&W brings the full production and catering stack, which is exactly what a launch or an exhibition wants: heritage-industrial character and a clean flat floor to build on. Central, with parking, five minutes from the airport. We confirm the rigging, power and vehicle load-in before designing a build. For an exhibition or brand takeover that needs raw space rather than a hotel ballroom, it's the Bay's answer.
