Thanda is the top of the KZN bush market - a five-star private Big-5 reserve whose corporate appeal is deliberately boutique: a single meeting space for around 80, bush-banquet dining under the stars, and the exclusive-use Villa iZulu with its own boma and helipad for a leadership group of ten. It's a long way from anywhere (fly the Mkuze airstrip and it's twenty minutes), which is exactly the exclusivity clients pay for. This is not a conference venue and B&W never sells it as one - it's a high-end incentive and board-offsite destination where the Big-5 and the privacy are the entire product.
