Gooderson Drakensberg Gardens is the Southern Berg's activity-rich conference resort - the Rhino Room takes 200, and around it sit an 18-hole course, a full spa and a genuinely deep team-building menu from ziplining to archery, all on an 860-hectare World Heritage site. It's the furthest of our Berg venues from Durban, a solid three-plus hours, so it's strictly for programmes where the distance buys focus. The 96 rooms handle a mid-size residential conference comfortably. B&W positions it for adventure-flavoured incentives in the south where the activity list is the draw.
