Mahikeng's grand old resort has had a rough run - the hotel wing burnt in 2021 and Peermont has been trying to move the casino licence to Rustenburg since 2022 - but the conference product is open and trading, with the 300-seat Grand Leopard Room leading five venues plus an outdoor boma. For provincial-capital work it is effectively the only serious room in town, and Peermont has publicly committed to keeping conferencing and F&B running in Mahikeng either way. Book it with eyes open: verify hotel-room availability and reconfirm status close to your date.
