The old Table Bay came back in December 2025 as the InterContinental, and the R1-billion rebuild shows - the Cape Point Ballroom and meeting suite are now genuinely current rather than grande-dame tired. Capacity is the honest limit: 260 theatre or 200 banquet, so this is an executive-scale flagship, not a volume conference box. The Quay 6 address still carries the most recognisable hotel name-equity in the city, useful when the guest list includes internationals. We watch the post-reopening service bedding-in, but early reviews trend the right way.
